Summer.

My summer in a nutshell...


1.) When I began rehearsals for Cinderella, I was absolutely convinced that the actors didn't like me at all.
2.) I soon found out that was wrong. And I fell in love with this cast! Everyone was so nice and no one was the slightest bit clique-y. Everyone loved each other!
3.) I learned how to dance! I had never done partner work prior to rehearsing Joseph, and I was SOOOO scared at first, but I caught on quickly and I had the BEST time!
4.) I realized just how short I actually am. I was the shortest wife in Joseph, one of the smallest people inCinderella, and many of the kids in Jack were just as tall as me or even taller!
5.) I figures out how to do a Jersey mobster accent. I don't think it's the best, but it's good enough to make people think I hired a vocal coach (not at all - just watched a few Godfather clips on YouTube!)
6.) I discovered that old feelings do not die within my innermost self. I've had a bit of a crush on the same person for three years.
7.) Said Person is not only now one of my best friends, he's also more of an older brother to me than my actual brother. (awkward-sounding? YES. Makes sense to me? YES... somehow.)
8.) I said goodbye to some of the GREATEST people and it hurts a lot. I didn't realize I would miss so many people!
9.) I realized that I can never compete with my other friends for one of my best friends' attention, and I decided to stop trying. I'm going to miss him a lot, but I don't think we'll ever be as close as we were before he decided he was in love with another of our friends...
10.) I met the HOTTEST boy. Too bad he's gay and his boyfriend's a douche.
11.) I finally realized the genius of Avett Brothers lyrics.
12.) I'm such an awkward person. It really sucks.
13.) I NEED MY LICENSE!
14.) I nearly fell in love, but I realized that he was stupid, so I got over him fast.
15.) I need to give myself more credit sometimes.
16.) It was only meant to last a couple days, but every time I put myself down, I STILL say two nice things about myself. (Thanks a lot, Adam!)
17.) I cry when I say goodbye to the people I love. I cry a LOT.
18.) I learned a lot of things about sex from my other "Mom" (Thanks, Brandi. Haha)
19.) College advice? "Have fun, be free, party hard, study harder, and don't get pregnant!" (Again, thank you, Adam.)
20.) My entire life has changed SO much. I can't believe how much I've grown up in just a few short months.

So, thank you for impacting my life so much. Summer 2010 was the best one yet.

P.S.: I'm going to start a new blog for college! How exciting! =D
