Apology.

I typed this up to send to G***** as an FB message, but I couldn't bear to push "Send." So, if you're reading this, kid, it's for you.

"Listen, you can ignore this if you want (and, honestly, I don't blame you). But this has been bugging me for a really long time (so it's a little later than it should be) and I just wanted to say it before I finally cracked... I'm really sorry. For everything. I should've just ignored you in the first place (that sounds so mean, but you know it's true) , but I guess I let my heart get the better of me and let myself get my own hopes up. I trusted the WRONG person (I'm not talking about you here), and now I know better. I just wanted to say that because it's hard to face you without this crazy nagging feeling in the back of my mind. If I could go back in the past, I'd change so many things, with opening my big 'ole mouth bieng one of them. Trust me, I've moved on. I'm just sick of all the tension. Like I said, you don't have to reply (and I think it'd be best if you didn't tell anyone I sent this), but I just wanted you to know that I apologize for this huge mess I've caused."
